Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At Brownie Point Cakes & Confectioners LLC, we take immense pride in delivering freshly prepared, handcrafted products made to order. Given the perishable and customized nature of our offerings, the following policy governs all purchases made through our website, stores, and partner platforms.

No Return & Refund Policy

All products sold are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Due to the perishable, consumable, and made-to-order nature, all sales are final. Once an order is confirmed and processed, it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded, except under circumstances approved at sole discretion.

Complaint & Quality Concern Window

We are committed to delivering the highest quality products. However, in the unlikely event of any concern:

  • Any complaint regarding quality, damage, or discrepancy must be reported within 60- minutes of delivery or pickup.
  • Complaints must be supported with clear photographic and/or video evidence shared via our official communication channels.

Important:

  • Claims made beyond the stipulated 60-minute window will not be entertained.
  • Once the product has been accepted, we shall not be liable for:
    • Improper storage conditions
    • Exposure to heat, humidity, or external contaminants
    • Mishandling post-delivery

Delivery & Transit Liability

  • All orders are handed over in perfect condition after quality checks.
  • Brownie Point shall not be liable for any damage occurring:
    • After successful handover to the customer, or
    • Due to third-party delivery providers (unless explicitly managed by BrowniePoint).

Cancellation by Customer

In the event of a cancellation initiated by the customer:

  • If the order is already processed, prepared, or capable of being fulfilled, no refund shall be issued.
  • At our sole discretion, Brownie Point may issue a credit note equivalent to the order value (or part thereof), subject to the following:
    • Validity: 90 days from the original order date
    • Non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash
    • Must be utilized in a single transaction unless otherwise approved

Cancellation or Non-Fulfillment by Brownie Point

In rare circumstances where Brownie Point is unable to fulfill an order due to internal or unforeseen reasons:

  • The customer shall be entitled to:
    • A full refund, or
    • A credit note, based on customer preference

Refund Processing (If Applicable)

Where a refund is approved at our sole discretion:

  • Refunds will be processed via the original mode of payment
  • Processing timelines may range between 7-14 business days, subject to banking channels

Force Majeure

Brownie Point shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Acts of war or civil unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Supply chain disruptions

In such cases, resolution (refund/credit note) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Discretionary Authority

All decisions regarding refunds, replacements, cancellations, and credits remain solely at the discretion of Brownie Point, and shall be considered final and binding.
